Meeting Adler Beck, the notorious player celebrated worldwide and coveted by women everywhere, challenges her indifference. There is a good deal of spice / sex / steam and the starting chapters may make some readers a little uncomfortable but perseverance pays off …. Beck’s POV was one of the small things I thought was missing from this book that could have made it even better.

This is an excellent ebook and suitable for all ages of people, especially those who love romance, thriller and mystery novels. The way of telling story is very impressive and ordinary that’s why no one can beat the author skills. Given the fundamental difference in those two ideologies, it’s probably not a massive surprise their marriage crashed spectacularly, but my five-year-old self was not expecting to leave for my first soccer game with two parents and come home to one.

My only sadness is that we didn’t get a second epilogue, maybe 5-7 years later, after marriage, Olympics, and what home country they are living in.Throughout the novel, it invites you to experience the world of misery so many people have experienced that you may never have been able to imagine. Not that there’s anything wrong with women keeping their virginities in tact, but in this day and age it’s just not realistic. As it is a single POV it is hard to see the MMC perspective and this is the book’s journey of her transformation. I have a huge bone to pick with authors who keep making Germans the best male soccer player ever, like?
